AT&amp;T is deploying new antennas in the 850Mhz spectrum.<\/p>\n<p>While you may see some improvement by just looking at the numbers of bars displayed on the phone, there is a better way to figure out if you are taking advantage of the new 850Mhz spectrum by putting your iPhone in field test mode. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"pub-1654780122218807\";\n\/* 468x60, created 1\/2\/09 *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"7466608983\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 468;\ngoogle_ad_height = 60;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n1. Once the menu appears, select &#8220;<a class=\"zem_slink\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Universal_Mobile_Telecommunications_System\" title=\"Universal Mobile Telecommunications System\" rel=\"wikipedia\">UMTS<\/a> Cell Environment&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/jaillon.com\/ftm\/IMG_0626.PNG\" alt=\"Field test mode screen\"\/><\/p>\n<p>3. Then select &#8220;UMTS RR Info&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/jaillon.com\/ftm\/IMG_0627.PNG\" alt=\"UMTS info\"\/><\/p>\n<p>4.
